Tracking of Spare Parts?!

Old GuardHere since the early days — one of BlokBlok's first members.In Brick Link not only the regular parts are tracked but also the spare parts. This make it easier for sellers to use the part out feature from BrickLink and to upload parts from new sets, but as well for users to know what is included.
I'm the only one thinking this might be usefull? Or are there others too? The are included into the part list, but in a separate section not belonging to main model.I'm aware this only make sense for the newer modells that are still in sale right now.

You can select 'Extra' in the picker for that part to be 'spare'. Problem is, for some reason they display as 'Regular' parts... I'll fix it tonight, but the functionality is there – thx for prompting this!

Counterparts probably not, and Alternate parts also not I reckon... or make it an option
