Here's a quick list of what's been done since launch, and what I'm working on right now:
- Profile image updates -> DONE
- Notification on Forum mentions -> DONE
- Bulk email with catalog suggestion updates (instead of spamming 1 email for each approved/rejected) -> DONE
- My Collection: add items to your personal collection (and optionally choose to share on your profile) -> DONE- BlokBlok-wide contribution tracker email: would it be useful to see how many changes were done by the community every week? -> QUESTION
- Discord: is Forum a good way to engage, or should we create a Discord, or do both? -> QUESTION
- Guides: I am writing some guides on contributions, current naming conventions and such – would be great to have community input, especially on the latter! -> QUESTIONWelcome any ideas and thoughts ✌🏻️

Also we should have a website update Emailer (with opt our function) so we can announce overhauls.
Maybe also a showcase section for new community posts (preferably stuff like mocs not this tab) and new listings

What would be nice, would be a possibility to add links to instructions, as sometimes it's hard to find them.

Hey @Primus and @5N00P1 – all great ideas, added to the roadmap 👌🏻
Re/ instruction links – yeah, so far they are only visible in Sources on items which I cataloged based on the instructions. I will work on adding a separate section of instruction links, backfilling with existing links where available, and opening it to contribution for missing ones. Down the line I can look into hosting instructions on BlokBlok, but they can be hefty – so gotta see how we are doing on memory first!

As like 90% are available somewhere a prominent link is very helpful.

@RACCOON lol. It do be switching for me according to my system settings (Mac OS, Arc Browser) but I'll add a manual button somewhere 👌🏻

I was actually just scaffolding a mysql db for a site just like this last month, but you beat me to it! Feels very premium and polished, great work. I love the "my collections" section and public profile, I'm big into that stuff and stats.
My suggestion:
On the public profile, make a "Stats" section above the collection which shows total collection stats by series/category. Like, say, 1/80 pyrates minifigs owned. 2/24 pyrates sets owned. Or maybe shown as percentages i.e 40% of pyrates sets owned.Additionally, on the public facing cards of the collection, maybe some baubles / badges to display box owned, instructions owned.
I've attached an image with a rough visual mockup to better explain my suggestions!
edit: also a minor tweak, usernames on these forum threads and posts to be an <a> link to profile
edit2: the way /catalog/parts is categorized seems weird and almost redundant seeing that the bulk of the items are uncategorized. Maybe go another route regarding that setup or make the uncategorized view the default. /catalog/sets in comparison is very straight forward and setup nicely, easy to understand as you progress through the menus 👍.

We will need your help, if you want more complete information contribute to them. If you don't have the photos, complete the part lists, this will attract more people and the more likely you will get the photos you are looking for.
People will likely do, what they like. I'm trying to update the larger Destiny Part lists, as Destiny has a limited number of sets.

Having a place to download PDFs would be extremely useful and here just seems like a good place because of the already extensive catalog.

Hello again, good to see that some of the suggestions I mentioned have been implemented.
I have another round of some suggestions after using the site for a few days more in depth.1. Add a "site activity" component on the / homepage somewhere, which will display new sets and parts added activity and new posted marketplace listings activity. I feel it will help the homepage feel less static and more dynamic / alive. Ideally under the selection boxes
2. on public profiles, have a waterfall / timeline of the user's recent activity across the site.
like "griimnak posted a new listing:X" and "griimnak posted a thread", "griimnak posted a reply to X", "griimnak added X to their collection"
(along with the more in depth collection stats I mentioned above on this thread :D)3. minor tweak; change the icon/image for "parts" on the homepage to something that more resembles a part and not a humanoid/figure.
4. a notifications bell in the top right menu could be nice. this notif tray could hold all site-wide notifs from community section (subscribed threads), approved/denied contributions, new orders, messages. Would refine your current approach to notifs and centralize it
5. a " x total sales completed" bauble / stat somewhere up top on /store/mystoreexample
6. a "x views" stat somewhere on threads. maybe next to "started by x x days ago" text.

you should add instructions for sets so people can go thru them on the website like page by page of the instruction for sets would be nice

if u are going thru someones store and grabing stuff it should say "in order" so it wont be confusing so later on if theres someone selling 400 stuff u know whats in the order when clicking what u want instead of clickin the same thing over and over cuss u forgot would be a nice feature

8. css tweak: On the mobile view (640px and smaller), the images for set inventory items are set to display:none. I feel that you should remove this. Seeing the icons makes a huge difference to convenience and usability.
I definitely see why you did it, because yea the grid gets pretty broken under 640px, but I say it's worth the extra css refactoring effort to keep the images. You can just change it to display:flex at that snap point and it looks pretty good.

9. Somewhat important: Listing descriptions need an expand btn/link to expand the text or maybe open a modal with the full desc. As you can see in the images below, there's a long desc and I'm unable to view it as I desire

@griimnak this all has been a goldmine, without exception. I've started cooking some items sporadically as you saw (mainpage is one to finish cooking) but will do a proper push around Monday, sadly won't have too much time this weekend. All brilliant stuff, massive massive thanks!

AWESOME! linking third party resources for instructions is great for now but I and I am sure other members have lots that are archived in our own files and not online yet.
